FUMA Swim School

The primary mission of the FUMA Swim School is to teach children, and parents to be more safe in and around the water.   Each Instructor is fully certified American Red Cross Lifeguard/First Aid/CPR/AED.  Our pledge to you is to provide a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for your children to learn water skills.  Our classes are taught by one instructor to four children and now we have more levels for children to master all in an effort to improve water confidence and competency.

Children may either enroll one time ($35 per child/month - 4 lessons) or two times ($70 per child/month - 8 lessons).

Lessons for the Fall session will begin starting September 6, 2016 and will run through October 27, 2016.  Times and dates for this session can be found by visiting the following links:

Registration for the Fall swim lessons will take place beginning August 15, 2016.   Please be sure to fill out the following registration form and the swim lessons waiver form.  For questions please contact Coach Campbell at (434) 842-4210.

Sea Horses (2.5 years - 5 years).  Children will build upon their water confidence through using little support.

Marlins (5 years and Older).  The purpose of this group is increased water confidence and independence.  Children will improve their backstroke skills, water safety skills, and be introduced to the crawl stroke.
